Very Frustrating - Not getting signal

Ok well when you can take a ddm to the rcas. Play a spng preferably a test tone and take the ddm.to the end of the rcas the inside male end of the rcas is positive the outer meter female looking end is ground and see if your gettin any volts or amps. Then we can istablish if its the rcas and bsck lies the problem or not

do this and post results. make sure the dmm is on AC volts though. the only other thing i can think of (which is highly unlikely) is that your amp's inputs are bad. i mean, you already tried two different headunits, different rca's, you have power going to the amp, so i honestly cant think of anything else that it could be.

yes post results, its gotta be either the headunit is bad, outputs not on, wrong outputs or the amp. or sub i guess

Yeah i just got a new amp a week ago and a new headunit yesterday. It's something with the RCA signal

so you have a new amb and a new h.u. that YOU ARE SURE are working, ok make sure your headunit sub out but is turned on. and the rca's are good you said ? check your subs for an ohm reading with the ddm. JUST throwing this out there on the amp , you have the rca's going into the input not the output (for slave use) ? check where the rrca's go into the amp

Yes my sub is good, I checked it, dual 4 ohm, amp is receiving 2 ohms, I haven't tested the RCAs for power yet, I got home late from work last night and I'm at work again this morning. That's where I think the problem lies, I'm not getting a signal from the headunit. I'll see when I can do it, been pretty busy around the holidays. Thanks for your support everybody!

Is the sub out on? Switch the rca, s to rear and see if it plays
