On a side note with your Pioneer HU: have you tried grounding your RCA shielding at the back of your HU? Probably no need now that the DD-1 has you squared away, I just know it has helped lots of people in the past with Pioneer HU issues. Awesome man, yea it seems alt noise is big if you have the settings wrong, like the gains turned up to much, so glad I got one!! Win win win and at finals in Shreveport Louisiana we had a blast showing people how to improve their systems w the dd-1 hahahaha I never leave home without it....
