DJCraigMac Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Im somewhat new to American bass brand.....but i wanna do it right with the cash i got to work with.I roughly have a max of 150.00 to work with for two 10 inch subs.I already have my box it holds two 10s,each 10 has its own chamber and there own slot vent.The chambers are 1.3 cubic feet each box total is 2.6 cubic feet.The slot vents are tuned @ 37 hrts.I have a alpine MRP-M350 class d mono amp and all 4 gauge wiring kit from monster cable,and i been looking very heavily into the American bass DX 10s.From what ive heard,seen on you tube and read they are really decent subs and would be a perfect match for my amp.Reason im going for two single coil 4 ohm 10s is the amp will see a final ohm load of 2 ohms which is what my amp needs,amp puts out 350 watts RMS @ 2 ohm 700 watts peak @ 2 ohm.(Bench test from the alpine sheet i got with the amp says 392 watts @ 2 ohm RMS and 784 watts @ 2 ohm max)what is everyone elses idea on the AB DX 10s?Also being 30 minutes from American Bass Headquarters or whatever they call it,i called Bob @ AB and he said he can get me out the door with two DX 10s for 120.00 dirrectly from him not a 2nd hand vender..Another reason i was looking into the AB DX 10s KnuKonceptz 1/0 power and ground wire. KnuKonceptz 1/0 to 4 gauge wire adapters (for vfl 100.1) KnuKonceptz 4 gauge power and ground wire (For PH-4100) KnuKonceptz battery distribution blocks. KnuKonceptz 1/0 used for big 3 rewire. KnuKonceptz 10 gauge speaker wire. Diehard Platinum AGM bat under hood,Matching diehard platinum in rear. Two American Bass TNT 12's d4s. American Bass VFL 100.1 Vented enclosure tuned to 35 hrtz. Pioneer TS-A1605C 6.5" components front and rear .( Will be upgraded in time ) American Bass PH-4100 FR-4 4 channel amp ( on highs and mids.) Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X596 head unit
