JustinWillmon Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 Hey guys, i keep going back and forth and confusing myself on what i want to do for my doors. I will be glassing my doors to accommodate whatever i decide to run. I want to run something that will be loud and clear and be able to keep up with 4 15's. I was thinking maybe like 2 8" drivers per door and a tweeter or something but im not positive. I want it to sound good but have great midrange and midbass but not be drownded out by my subs. The first option i thought was just stick with my HAT imagines and buy one more pair and run them in my doors. For a total of the three 6.5 inch drivers and 3 tweeters per door. Second option would be something like the sundown neopro 8's or the selenium 8W4P and then maybe a good tweeter to match with them. The next part is im not sure if i should run active or passive, i currently have these crossovers laying around: Im just not sure if i can use those or if i would be better off just getting something like a dc 175.4 which i believe you can run active off of ( i may be wrong) and run the setup active. Just really confused on what i should run as i want to make sure im loud and clear but have enough midbass for my liking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
