RF Symmetry EPX2 assistance

OK, so I finally got a new RDAT for my Rockford Fosgate Symmetry EPX2. Not exactly sure what happened to the old one, but it would light up and had a bunch of blah on the screen. Anyways, now when I hit "EQ" it tells me "Feature Not Available". I've had the E28 installed in it since I've owned it. I've already taken it apart, sanded the posts that it connects with but it sill says it's not there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even someone who works on these or knows who works on these would be appreciated.

I should also mention that it currently works great except the EPX2 is telling me "Feature Not Available" when I try to use the EQ. Even the spectrum analyzer on the E28 works great as seen thru the clear window. I really don't want to order a new E28 only to find out it's something else. Thx
