I've been lookin at the Zcons for a awhile and they seem to be very good because of price, loudness, durability, and good reviews + vids. I seen the AA Mayhems for an xtra 40-50 bucks which isn't that much of a difference and I wanted to know if any of you know which would be the best for overall loudness and pounding low notes good and that will do good on meter (151+). Setup will be DAILY and whatever I choose will be in a Ported (Optimal) enclosure 13-14.5cuft after displacements (Double baffled all around and braced tuned to 33-34hz)! Both subs seem very good and differ a lil n specs. I know the Mayhems take 250more rms which isn't really a difference and I will like to know where did the xtra money go to the Mayhems were it didn't go to the Zcons? The Zcons have 8 layer aluminum coils while Mayhems have 4 layer aluminum coils. Will that make one more efficient than other or willing to play louder? Power and Electrical isn't a factor so I don't need help on that! Please help me out on this one.
