mitchell830 Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 I bought a dc 175.4 off my buddy and I'm doing 4 6.5 speakers up front. I found some speakers I like but there 100 watt rms. I don't know if this is to much power on them or if I should just buy 8 speakers and do 4 more out back. Then how would I wire it? 2 speakers each channel? I know it would drop the load but then I'd worry about not having enough power. Lol speakers btw are EminEnce alpha 6.5's. Thanks Quote

k3n12ock Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 (edited) Buy 4 of the Crescendo mids. $100 shipped for FOUR http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/crescendo/110124-crescendo-pa-mids.html I would get all single 4 ohm so you can wire a pair to 2 ohms per channel (thats with using 2 channels) and you have the other two for whatever else.. possibly 4 more?
