VaNQuisH
There is another thread about this but no answers since november. Can we get some help with this. A tutorial maybe? Referring to stock head units/mids and highs... aftermarket subwoofer and amplifier. - What order should things be tested. - How do we disconnect stock speakers to protect them from blowing if the LOC is tapped into them? I have several friends who are on a budget and want to dd-1 their system not sure how to go about this. dohckiller808
Just work your way from the deck to the loc to the amps.
VaNQuisH
One of my main concerns is blowing the speakers while playing tones. The loc itself is tapped into the harness. Also how would one go about disconnecting stock speakers while still sending signal through the harness to the dd-1. Is there a way around this issue Quote Currently: * Hybrid Audio Legathia 3-Way Active Front Stage * (2) Morel Ultimo 12's * (2) Arc Audio 1100.1 XDi v2 (Strapped @1ohm) * (1) Arc Audio 1200.6 * RF 360.3 DSP
Ray
Kinda defeating the purpose of checking the system if most of it is unplugged. Who cares if the bass is clean at full tilt when/if your highs are crapping out. Gotta do it all hooked up man. Turn it up untill the highs are still clean then adjust loc from that point.
