Guest DC Power Kyle Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Not to stir the shit pot, but people can't claim that xx is better than xx for xxx less than the price of another brand. 99% of the people on here aren't alternator experts and have NO IDEA how things work inside an alternator. That's like saying an amplifier thats 400 dollars and puts out 4500 watts is just as a sundown 4500D. You get what you pay for. It's so easy to fluff numbers. Quote
ShaneBond Posted February 6, 2012 Author Report Posted February 6, 2012 i mean im not hating on in any brands i dont really know much about alts other than a need a new one lol. i was just asking for opinions. Quote

And that's completely fine. I know you're not hating. Just like people don't know much about amplifiers... they just go by what the manufacture says. Just remember, you DO get what you pay for. Do lots of research... lots lots of it. Specifically in how much idle performance really matters. Quote
ShaneBond Posted February 6, 2012 Author Report Posted February 6, 2012 well since you are an alt expert do you think the 190 amp oem alt of yours would be good choice for just an audiopipe 3000d? Quote
Guest DC Power Kyle Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 190 amp alternator would make a significant difference in the audiopipes performance as long as your big 3 is done and whatnot. Quote

Watch the bass Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 I would go with the alternator first. And i have a Singer Alternator they are a lil cheaper and just as good ou might wanna look them up and get a quote. Good luck though Dc power is a very good brand though. im all about saving some money i've just seen many people go with dc so i was just about to since they seem reliable but ill look up a singer one! same here i wanted DC POWER but they said $629 for a 270xp so i called MECHMAN they said $499 for 320a so im going with MECHMAN but i have no choice i want big bass so i got to buy H/O ALT and few batteries thats just the nature of the beast lol would 190 be enough for me with just the audiopipe 3000? thats the biggest im going to go with my car audio... untill i get a new car lol Damn good deal 190 amp´s for 270, do the alt first and than the batt´s.
