battlewalrus
Ok I've never used an extra battery for car audio before as I've always had low power setups before, but with my new one using past the limit of my stock alt, I'm looking to add 2 batteries My car (2005 Honda CR-V) has a group 51R starting battery, so I'm going to replace the stock with the D5100R One question is, since the starter is reverse polarity, does this mean I have to use reverse polarity with all batteries? lol I bet I'm terribly wrong and it just means the terminals are switched, but just making sure. Also, when I'm wiring up the battery in the back, how do I connect it up? Would it be: Starter battery + to extra batt + Starter batt - to extra batt - ? And would I have to have a 3rd ground coming off of the extra battery?
