2xDD 515 in room

Hi for everybody !! I am from Slovakia and my english is not the best so excuse me....I just didnt find the right category where I can ask what I want .... I have one problem, the first I write here my set up in room .

Nakamichi CD-45z (headunit)

2x Focal utopia ´s in home made box

2x home made 3way Tesla ARN boxes

2x digital designs 515

Audison vrx4.300 (for subwoofers)

Blaupunkt MPA500 (for 2x Tesla home made boxes)

Transformer 15,5 V , 80A (but I have 70A fuse)

So,the situation is ..I smell the coil of these DD s after about 30 minute of pounding at maximum,audison can produce 2x440watt rms @ 2 ohm ....I have those DD s connected to 2 ohm on only 2 channels bridged (440watt rms) (its 4 channel amp) ....I asked about this problem a lot of people and they said that I have volume too high and there is distortion...I dont have money for smd dd1 so its not that easy set the gain right...I want to connect each DD to 2 channels bridged (its 2x350watt rms @ 4 ohm) ...If I will ,I think I will have no distortion and it will be louder but here it all begins,only in B channel is low pass filter that is set to woofers...but If I connect them to A channel,the woofers are playing full range ...how to set low pass filter in A channel ? (If I push MONO for A channel,it doesnt help)

have you broken in the subs even? clip will kill any sub

it can be so many things, but clean power is what you don't give them

No ,the subs are not broken in...I have them for 2 months....this distortion or clip can kill my DD s? I think they need more power with not that high volume ...but I have no money for new amp ...I just want to connect them to this amp in 2x350wrms mod...it will be enough and I can set the volume lower and it will be louder than 440w...but without cliping...but HOW TO SET LOW PASS FILTER IN A CHANNEL ???

You thinking is wrong from the start, clip will kill ANY subwoofer, ANY speaker for that matter

I mean you could look what I had already dual 1510s4, wired 2 on m1a's bridge... maybe temperature changed, MAYBE... in the hot summer time only... then 3515d d2 wired to 1, on same amps, no problem there, same with 9512g d2 also, wired also 1, again NO temp change...but you really got to work them in slowlly, this will take time, sorry no way around it. I took my sweet time, adjusted gain and how sub is wired several times, never got sub hot or smelly... now they can take more then I can give them, power that is

And better to have too big amp vs too small, both amps can deliver lets say 100w, but one can clip soon, one not even close... you are in control, only you will kill the sub, trust me, I know... and problem is, when its loud, its never too loud, you always want more, ask people that do 155-160 on music (which IMO is far too much)

set your lowpass like so, turn the knob all the way to minimum, lets say that is 50Hz...if you have any switch, move it to LPF position. now imo 50Hz is a bit too little, so turn the know a bit. Now depends on what is the max range, this could be almost nothing, or a bit more. In any case, I listen to subs, I want boom boom out not mid bass beeem beem, which also takes a lot of power, which can make suppy to sag and clip the amp

In my car, I had option to see this, it was loud and all, and I have LPF with 360.2 set to 65Hz I think... I then drop that to 55Hz, which in you could say is far too low, but up to that, I could be more loud, more so, that I could hear the difference, since my electrical system is car was what it was... I couldn't supply enough power to the amps to play in 60Hz range with same power then below 50

Some photos about it,If you want,I made a video about it so I can upload it to youtobe..I think there is no problem with set up the amp...there is + and - wire,remote with my switch, 4 channel Signal cable is going there ,and I tested ohm at the end of wire out of subwoofers,and its 3 ohm ...so the ohm is not too low for that amp...where the f*** is the problem ?? I am uploading video to youtobe how this amp shoots down when the music start

each amp has gain setting for input rca voltage from below 1v up to several volts if you have such HU

now, if you have good HU with 2v or more preout, and gain on amp set high, amp will clip

anyway, record it, show the voltage also, but I think its good all of the time

one thing you should do, use 2-4 clicks lower volume on HU, and see if subs start to get warm

I have Nakamichi CD-45Z HU what is high quality HU ...it has 4 V signal output ...

I have voltage drop from 15,3V max. to 12V ....

The cam cant pick up the bass so that shitty sound in the video is because of the camera...

I assume that amp is ok, does this happen on a bit lower volume?
