skyhighcaraudio
Here is the back of the box when i was putting the layers together. Got the drivers side layer up...itll have more reinforcement but not today lol Here is the passenger side up with the 2 layers to start...also there will be more support on this side also front view Here is some size for you a small friend of mine but you get the point Here is the back painted because even though my rear window is dark as fuck you can see it through the window...so as you can see this is my first wall build and i have had to do a few things twice lol time consuming but now its painted and ready to I got the 175.4 up on the wall just to try the rainbows in the front door...so i have no tweets just 4 mids in the pods and they are super clean and super loud lol i love them so far and only half of them are there. basically i could not be happier with the mids i have now. skyhighcaraudio
ok so i have not been doing shit on my truck lately because i have been visiting my parents for the christmas break (until monday) but i have gotten the paint done for the ascent panels and what the front of the box will be done in. i was planning flat black as the ascent color on the dark grey but i figured after my last build and the sponge paint i couldnt just go bland. i spent a kind of lot of time trying to figure something new out that i liked and was not as out there and bold as the sponge paint. it almost killed me because i couldnt be happy with anything and after about a day of trying i got it down and was able to make it match consistently so it doesnt drive me crazy later...anyways here it is Here is the paint i used lol after trying seemly thousands of paints i got this shit....no homo Had to heat it up to make it work correctly because its so damn cold Here is what the first layer looks like First layer ALL DONE Let me know what you think... skyhighcaraudio
I am uploading more pics right now and will have some more up in a few minutes EDIT: BTW those things sucked to fit in there because the box is wider than the B pillars and taller than the cross members in the roof....my first wall and i guess its showing because i have to do everything twice lol but they fit thank god after some nudging from the rubber mallet...didnt think of this issue before i cut them... skyhighcaraudio
these sealing pieces all around suck ass and i do hate them lol either i dont have the wood work skills or the patience for them...or both lol So here is the reasoning behind this relay and stuff back there behind the dash. By the end of this i will have so many accessories turning on with the truck like fans and othe little shit that i figure running off the HU or off a fuse in the fuse block isnt the best idea so i sat down and figured this relay out so i could have 8 gauge wire for my remote power and all acc grounds. then i took the 8 gauge neg from the batt in front to a distribution block and used that to ground the relays which has an acc 14 gauge in as a switch then 8 ga from the batt in and 8 ga out when the relays switch is turned on by the key hitting the acc position. so that 8 gauge out from the relay goes to the other distribution block behind the dash and will split off to all the accessories needed to make this thing work. i figure that this 40 amp relay is going to be more than enough to run all the shit i have in mind and was the best bet instead of trying to put everything on switches of something like that (though some of the stuff will be switched but it will be switched from a remote so i dont have to turn it on or off with the truck it will automatically do it but i will have the option to turn different accessories off if need be. anyways here it is: Here is some other shit ive been doing: no homo so moral of the pillar story is that i couldnt make myself happy with a mid in the pillar so i had to settle for just some tweets and ill find somewhere else for the other 4 mids (probably in the 45 degree pieces of wood that go from the box to the b pillar for 2 of them and maybe 2 in the console if at all possible but we will c i goes there is already a ton of shit that is suppose to go into the console so idk how much room there will actually be or if there will even be enough for what i want...time will tell lol Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/
