Need Help Wit Wall Will It Be Louder

ok i have a 98 jimmy wit 2 soundstream t4-15s and the box below tuned to 39hz is what i have now(well its out for the winter to re-do it) i do a 144.5 as of now people tell me to make a bigger port and i agree. i wanna wall it off cause i have alot of mids/highs i wanna put in so my main question is will it be louder than it is now or will it be less loud cause right now it sounds louder compared to the numbers and i like it a few people on here have heard it and said they think it should be puttin up better numbers and i dont wanna wall it if its gonna be not as louder but i really just wanna put all the mids i have so any imput would be gtreat thanks

wall will minimise air space in vehical making it easier to gain a higher spl. i say wall it!

louder but mor punchy...you will lose some deep notes. the further away your subs are from you the more time each frequency has to develope. the higher the note =the shorter distance to complete the cycle. so if you just want to be LOUD... wall it ; if you want sq...just start experimenting with boxes and in time you will find the right combo that will work for your vehical/equipment set up. louder but mor punchy...you will lose some deep notes. the further away your subs are from you the more time each frequency has to develope. the higher the note =the shorter distance to complete the cycle. so if you just want to be LOUD... wall it ; if you want sq...just start experimenting with boxes and in time you will find the right combo that will work for your vehical/equipment set up. If you are going to wall it I would say build it farther up than behind the back seats. If you want to keep it behind the back seats just build a different box. IMO if you are going to wall it you should ditch the back seats, and build it up closer to the B-pillar.
