hi. i got a stock alternator(90amp) charging 2x55amp batteries. and i got some voltage drop when turning up the volum.. just want it to keep steady at 14.4ish.. so i got an ekstra alternator.. i mounted this on the engine, mounted the belt, connected D+ and messured the voltage between the negative batt and the main output on the alternator.. (not connected with the batteries) the voltage was about 17-18v !?!? :WTFBubble: the (new) alternator. got it from a old ford,, it got a stick connection,, with 2 thick main + and 1 D+ and another connection on the back saying just + (something..)

does anyone have any idea?

sry for bad english, but i cant get any help from any norwegian forum,, useless europeans...
