PUNKYOU007
So I was going to buy a nice table saw but I really dont have the space at the moment. So the alternative is use a straight edge and a circ saw. Anyway I bought this thing http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=352335-23796-540950&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=3341574&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1 But I am thinking that it was a bad choice. I haven't used it yet but the fact that it can only go to 50" makes it completely useless for long rips. Lowes also has http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=119887-1099-CG100&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=1006469&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1 For half the price. but for all that I could just buy a 8' pc of flat aluminum stock and some clamps a lot cheaper and get the same tool in the end. Hell I could probably buy two sticks of the aluminum and cut one into a couple smaller pcs to make short cuts easier to manage. And yes I am aware of the tools people make out of wood. SoCaLBaMF
I would say the 100" ... but for smaller rips the 50" would work better. It would be kind of a hassle swinging a 100" long rail around when ripping smaller cuts lol. 2004 Bagged Trailblazer (4)18" Sundown Nsv3s (4) Taramps HD10000s, Taramps DSP3000, Lanzar opti 250x2, AB 100x4 (2)DC power SP 270s, (14)XS Power d3100s, (1)d6500
PUNKYOU007
And that's why I was just thinking that aluminum flat bar would trump them both. That clamping 50" on cost $40.00 and the 100" (which is essentially just two pcs of aluminum with a pc that you can bolt the two pcs together) cost $20. The good thing about the 100" is the fact that it is made up of two 50" pcs, so essentially you get both a 50" tool and 100" tool for $20...wonder how much two 8' sticks of aluminum are? Depending on how wide and how thick, Im sure it would probably come out just about even. 2004 Bagged Trailblazer (4)18" Sundown Nsv3s (4) Taramps HD10000s, Taramps DSP3000, Lanzar opti 250x2, AB 100x4 (2)DC power SP 270s, (14)XS Power d3100s, (1)d6500
