True Doobie Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Hi, I have (2) 12" Rockford Fosgate Power HX2's 1000 RMS / 2000 PEAK and I have (2) Rockford Fosgate Pro AX bd1000p they are 500 by 1 Watts RMS at 4Ohms 1000 by 1 Watts RMS at 2Ohms The subs are 2000 Watts MAX Power dual 2 Ohm The Model is RFR3112 The box before dismantled, It was 46 inches LONG - 16 1/2 inches WIDE sloping up to 31 inches and is 21 1/4 inches TALL Now it is 46 inches LONG and 16 1/2 WIDE and 21 1/4 inches TALL It also has ports on the side of the box by each sub. They measure 1 feet long and roughly 3 inches wide. My question is the subwoofers were wired to 1 OHM. I have had previous rockford amp a bd1500.1 and another Power bd1000.1 and they worked fine wiring to 1 OHM. Will this be alright on these amps. Or is there a different way I can run them. I don't wanna run them at 4 Ohms. And me having (2) amps I am not sure of all my confirgurations I have.
