honolulublue
i just came back from doing errands and i was pounding my rockford 1000 bdcp with lil kim keys to the city and it shut off. pulled over to have the car wash and still no sub. when i got home i re surfaced power both ends, ground to the amp (did not resurface ground to car) power fuse was still intact resurfaced and re crimped remote but when i turned on the power the thermal light would blink feintly once then nothing. the gain setting on my amp is set lower then half way up hertz to 37. honolulublue
well for one i did not read the bottom and thought it was four ohm per sub because of the jumper said 4 or one then realized they were two so my wiring came down to .5 ohm on a one ohm stable sub went to test it and thankfully the amp turned on but did not notice the crack in the power wire fuse until i tested to see if i fried my amp...due to panic good thing my gain was not up and i still had to go through deck to sub but still the draw was dangerous and cracked the fuse but, not break it...
