1 ohm wiring

How would I wire 2 12" kicker l5 to a db drive platinum? Saw a video on you tube but it only came out with one pos. one neg. the amps a mono but has 4 ports for speaker wire. thanks for any help

what voice coils on the subs. which model amp. you're not giving any info.

and your amp has 2 sets of speaker terminals just to help with making wiring multiple subs easier. just cause it has 2 sets of terminals, doesnt mean its not a monoblock. practically every monoblock has that feature.

Two of those ports are pos. and two are neg. They are connected together inside the amp. Some companies but "two outputs" on a one channel amp because most people use more than one sub and the extra hook ups make it easier to hook up multiple woofers.

NOW if you wanna use both sets of positives and negatives on the amp do this to each sub and EACH set of + and - ON AMP

YES IT SAYS 2 OHM but that will be for each and they are connected internally in the amp so the amp will see 1 ohm. Use DDM to check final impedance before playing should read 1 ohm on EITHER set of speaker outputs
