appealingrelic Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 so this is my third car and second setup in car unfortunately first stereo in car was stolen mostly. cheap dual 12s in a bandpass was taken and the faceplate to my kenwood bt945u. so i went back to my total stock until just a couple weeks ago my gf bought me a new cd player to install one in her van. 2 cd players cost her 198 with some help from a referral credit and a lil in store credit i had online. so with this new jvc arsenal kd-ahd79 i could put some of my random equipment that ive aquired through the past few years. my wiring is i think sfx 5 guage from batt to a split block then 8 guage from there to the dual xia3145 the kit is for a 2 amp setup from first car when i had 2 amps for my polk db components and the sub amp. the subs im running are 2 JL 10w0-8 in a sealed box that i got them in, not sure of volume though. i bought the subs for 50 bucks in high school just because i had the money. so given that all the stuff in my car right now cost me about 150 total id say its decent. everything else on my car is bone stock. the only thing i have done is unplug that stupid little center speaker in my dash.
