if you have never built a wall or any type of 4th or 6th order I would say try to clamshell or powerV (clamshell sideways) as it would be much easier to figure your cubes with a more basic design...

as for less cubes for running more than RMS I have DC lvl3 18 and am using recommended cubes while running 300 over RMS to it which is roughly the same type of power your going to get to the 6 with 7k...you really only drop cubes if your running at MAX not really for just a bit above RMS...

if I were you I would consider running 4 at MAX power rather than 6 at just above RMS..it would free you up to upgrade ALT for the the price of the 2 extra 15s and maximize your electrical and the power of your amp/s...I mean Jesus 4 15s on 7k should be damn loud!

box similar in design to this rolled on its side

Six fifteens could fit subs up port back but whatever haha, and its my first big system yes. And i understand common knowledge of enclosures just never did anything big enough to have to compensate for box rise, and such. And yes im getting some alphadamp and working right now on getting the whole car stripped down...and im not gonna need a lot of mids and highs since it wont be on full tilt very often. As far as fiberglass skills i have none which is kind of not needed anyways nothing is gonna be fiberglassed its not gonna be a show car hell ill probably never compete just something i likei suppose. And as far as making the car more structurally sound, just a stripper pole and maybe some steel bracing underneath the box....electrical im just gonna have 3-6 d3100 which should do the trick untill i get enough money for a mechman....and i know my electrical should be my main focus but with those batts i will be fine...theres that guy on youtube with the 8 sa-8s on a the same stetsom with a few extra batts stock alt in a GEO and he gets down no problem.

im sure you do think that. i dont know why you would want to do subs up port back in a sedan. it wont work.

yes you WILL need loud mids and highs. so what if you wont be playing it loud 99% of the time. do you just want to hear all bass and no lyrics when you ARE playing it full tilt? i sure as shit dont want to.

and just because some guy with a geo, who also blew a few subs if i remember correctly, can put a big ass amp in his ride with a stock alt, doesnt mean you should. im sure he was revving the shit out it trying to get that little alt to charge.

and a mechman costs what like two of those batteries cost, so you should have no problem with getting one if you're going to get 6 batteries.
