CLNFREAK Posted April 8, 2012 Report Share Posted April 8, 2012 I need to hold my car at 1800-2000 rpm during audio comps .... I have tried a throttle press that hooks to the steering wheel but it seems that as soon as the petal is pressed at all it goes to 2200 rpm (and that wont fly) .. HERE IS THE QUESTION : what is the resitance in the drive by wire (or how ever it works) so i can maybe put a resistor of a pot in line to set the rpm at 1800-2000 is there any other way to do it ? I am open for suggestions CAR IS : 2006 impala 3.9 lt cant sit in car over 150 db (not that i am there yet but will be in the future) ... and the car wont do it with out 1800-2000 rpm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
