whats up everybody im new to this part of the site but not new to smiths ive got three revolvers all pre 1980 a .357 new in box model 65 or 929 is what the box says stainless 2 1/2 barrel. A model 14 snub nose blued and the gun in question a model 14-3 6 inch barrel. I wanna know what year the 14-3 is made the number above model 14-3 is 14k1258 and the number in front of the cylinder is d5 03264 ill post pics of the gun i bought it from my dads friend he sent it off to oak ridge tenn to have the whole gun covered in a material that keeps it rust free waterproof and scrath proof (its the same stuff thats coated the nose of nasa spaceships) the gun is green and he put presentaton grips by pachmayr ill post some pics later thanks

There is a site i cant remember off top of my head, im sure you can google it. Tells you where it was originaly purchased, date and if its stolen or been involved in a reported shooting.

i tried looking it up but couldnt find any sites that were free i was just gonna see if anyone had one of the smith books
