Better battery terminals to reduce voltage drop?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I tend to search and read on here more than I post but I couldn't really find a straightforward answer on my questions.

I'm running Audiopipe 2 1500x1 and 2 1500x4 and 4 12" T3 1000s in a '11 Tundra double cab.

Problem: Voltage drops are certain low notes, but no dimming of the lights.

I'm running a Audiopipe 0 gauge from Duralast Platinum w/ 300amp fuse to a "Krank It Up" 2400 in the back (also fused before connecting to amp).

I've ran Streetwire 0 gauge from Alt + to Duralast +, Duralast - to body. I did not run a wire from body to engine block (ran out of wire).

I also running a stock alternator.

I'm asking if better battery terminals can help out; I'm looking at Scosche EFX Wedge Compression for the positive and a Scosche EFX for negative.

Has anyone used these and approves? I need a dual 0 gauge output along with a dual 8 gauge output on the positive. At least 0 gauge and 8 gauge on negative.

I don't want to go down the "add an alternator" or "get a HO alternator" route, at least not yet. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks
