Polecat Posted December 28, 2007 Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 L7 kills the W7 in SPL all Day EVERY Day, W7 will kill the L7 in SQ EVERY Day of the week and twice on sundays. on certain installs, I agree, and dis-agree. Back in the day, it was good to see huge 'high-end' installers compete for the HUGE SQ awards head to head. Sometimes it was round, sometimes it was square. cichlidfort Posted December 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 28, 2007 (edited) Yeah I know W7s and L7s aren't really in the same class thus it is hard to compare them but there is a big debate of which is better. Basically what I am getting from this is L7s gernerally get louder but W7s usually have better sound quality and sound better on the lows depending on the setup of both type of subwoofers. If I had a lot of money to spend on subs, sure, I would spend the extra money on W7s. But honestly, I think L7s look way cooler and get just as loud if not louder.
