thought it was about time to relocate the PLC to a more permanent home..I had 2 choices, In between the Hazard Button and the Rear Window button, but I would have had to remove the face plate and housing off the PLC and it would have been a tight fit, the other option was to mount it above the temp mounting area. The one I chose was to the right of the steering column, just under the black area (if you scroll up and look at the pic of my headunit, it is literally the bottom left of the picture in the tan area) So I took that piece off and began to map it out. On the back was some foam shit, but I figured I'd just cut thru that as well as the shitty plastic wrap...Then that's where it all went to hell. As soon as I cut out the hole for the PLC and carefully slid it in, the foam and plastic on the bottom of the hole I cut disintegrated. So now I'm left with a PLC that won't sit flush or level because of crappy materials. Not sure how I'll fix it but I'll let y'all know.

Pics in the morning.

PS I just put black tape around the hole so it actually looks decent (not great, or professional, but decent) but it still won't sit flush or level, but it works.

Rough outline

Found out how messy Stereo Store did my original 8 awg wiring..redoing it at the end of the month with 2 runs of 0 awg, 1 splits into 2 runs of 4.

One 4 awg goes to one R500-1D Other 4 awg goes to 2nd R500-1D

The other 0 awg goes to T1000.4 2009 edition. I chose the 09 because its the same price, does the same total RMS (i know its not CP) and has the LED Indicators.

Before I cleaned it basically this is what it came back like after I took it to the stereo store a year ago (before I knew enough to do it myself) and I just now took the back seat off and it looks like shit. Obviously the Sharpie and tools are mine and I just had them setting there.

Dude, your installation methods need to be cleaned up. This has to be one of the worst hack jobs I have ever seen. Your wiring is a mess, nothing looks clean and your attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired. Slow down. Take your time. I understand the anxiousness to get the job done but there's getting it done and there's getting it done right. I have the same car and it took me about 3 weeks straight to get the installation completed correctly.
