Nate Futuristic Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 i bought this jimmy in april and decided to get back into car audio after throwing my old system in it (single 15" SSD 4 cube slot ported box tuned to 32hz on a SAZ-1000D) i realized i wanted more so this is gonna be my first real build (helped a few friends back in the day) i want to keep this a somewhat daily driver so there will be no plans for a wall in the future (unless i get my 93 talon TSI fixed) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ contents of the build~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ bought/built/ordered items are in purple lol four 15" SSD's (cooling only) 16 cube box bottom ported tuned to a beautiful 28hz (subs up port back) amp(s) 2 db drive pd2000.1s ( unless i find a cheap dc 5k or saz4500 2 sets of cadence cs2.65k's (four 6.5 mids and four tweeters + crossovers) 1000.4 (elcheapo amp these mids and highs are a temp fix till i stack more cash after the build) 1 singer 275A alt 3 XS power D975s in the back and a everstart maxx in the front for now (yellow top is in the trash lol) 100 ft of CCA 1/0 (50' blue and 50' silver along with 30+ matching ring terminals) 8 ANL fuse blocks (already have 4 but may add more) 75 square feet of Fat Mat (sound proofing for the floor and trunk area only!) 36 square feet of Stinger RoadKill (roof and doors!) a somewhat false floor/hidden battery bank and amp rack! (working on this ATM!) 14 cans of great stuff for all of the rear panels and anywhere else i could fill gaps!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NOT AUDIO RELATED~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ lower intake gasket blew out so i had to replace that along with most of my coolant hoses and vacuum lines (150 total with gaskets,hoses,v-lines,coolant,oil,oil filter, RTV silicone, and anything else i bought that day) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TARGETS/GOALS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ nothing to major i havent personally competed so i might go to a few local shows and try my luck ou depending on how i feel about it when it's done i just really wanna hit them lows! will get a video up of a rundown of everything ive done and am doing so far! thanks for checking out my build log! dont forget to give advise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups ^^ Cant wait to swalllow Ghost's babies
