yankees14011
i just got an led light strip with 300 led. I hooked up about half of them today and they are running off my subwoofer terminals. When i went to bump them they started to smoke. I was wondering if anyone knew away where i can have them still go with the bass beats but not smoke when i turn it up all the way. Thanks! wanacustomx
if your trying to get them to go to the beat, ad dont wanna go crazy with all the resistors, you could just wire it in to the Left or Right speakers on the headunit. my broth used to have lights behind his speaker grills in the door panels
pimpnFosgates
doing as he stated can cause problems electrically. if you wanna go to the beat theres a special box to buy. and also its 1 resistor per set of leds if soldered to 1 strip. Jessica
Am i stupid or is hooking anything other than your subs to your amps speaker terminals going to change what ohm's the amp see's and thus possibly frying the amp? From what i gather you just need a module that has a microphone that tells the lights when to light up. Correct me if i am wrong.
