First of all, your box might be too large, 31 is too low to get real huge numbers out of. Your port is also firing the wrong way(into the side of the cargo area right?). You need to scrap that box, do a port on the bottom facing the rear hatch tuned at maybe 35. Also, Check the specs for those L7s. If you've tuned AT or below Fs, the subs might be jumping the gap on the LOWS. big damage can occur if you're doing this... Mr.BassMan Posted May 5, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 its the shop that insisted porting it through the side was the best idea because the box was so close to the back hatch to port it towards the hatch. but i just took the sub out and i think i figured out what is wrong, the spider i guess? (the yellow thing under the wiring terminals) is ripped and flaps when the sub moves. is it possible to glue that back or is it shot?
