dkahns51 Posted May 5, 2012 Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 I keep getting a pop up randomly from windows saying that this is not a genuine copy of windows and then it leaves a water mark on the bottom right corner. I tried downloading the thing on there site that makes it genuine but it always fails to download. Any thoughts? Yes it is a genuine cd i bought from Amazon. Also i dont know if this is related but sometimes i turn on the computer and the screen is very dim and its really hard to see anything, but when i restart it again its bright and normal. beaker Posted May 5, 2012 Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 You have to run that command in the command prompt. Start-> Search Type CMD Right click on it Run as Administrator Type slmgr /rearm Hit Enter You should be able to re-activate after that. If not, you'll need to re-install windows.
