Alpine IVA W205 and Alpine PXA H701?

I have a Alpine IVA W205 and recently bought a Alpine pxa H701. Both are currently not installed yet just waiting on a couple more things before installing new system. From looking around the internet heard that the alpine IVA W205 can only adjust certain things on the alpine pxa h701. My question is what exactly can the alpine IVA W205 can adjust on the alpine pxa h701 compared to using the alpine rux C701. Have been looking for a C701 for a while but they are really hard to come by so was thinking of just using the alpine iva w205 to control the pxa h701.
