Help needed

Now this might sound stupid but i have a plan havent done much in spl before but in my town its not big. people with to much cash with 6 12" woofers only get 135-140 db. my goal is get either a single 8" woofer or 2 to make as much noise as i can.

The thing i need help with is what box's should i try out. please help out as i hope to make a difference in a small town and the way they see spl comps.
