DD1 Only sets for -5DB bass, what about music with different DB levels?

Clipping lights aren't accurate, as Decaf said himself they are set to light up "clip" off of rail voltage ( whatever that is ). What i have found out for myself on my AQ 2200D when my voltage drops below 13.5 the light goes off. If the voltage stays up i can go higher on gain. I tuned with the DD-1 so they are set. Those lights aren't accurate don''t rely on them. Find Decafs post where he says thais ^.

It kinda sucks, I adjust my gain at the start of every song, I can feel (and hear of coarse) when the amp gets into the power phase of the DB level. But I can turn the gain knob up more and still get huge output increases, even though its distorted :( But having the subs in the trunk makes the distortion hard to hear.

I set my gain on the amp with the remote @ 1/2 way so on lower volumes i could turn the gain up a bit. But as soon as i see the light flash i can smeel coils LOL. but my subs take the abuse ( I think). I also cross checked my DD-1 to my gain light and it was close! the light actually came on before. So i also tend to go by the remote when i am in doubt if the song is clipped.

Nice :) That's what I wish I could do... well if I had a light hahaha

I can't ever smell my coils, just wrecks my woofer suspension :(
