Help building box for Skyline GTR

Im getting ready to put my system in my skyline GTR R32

i ordered 2 Rockford T0 10s and need to build a box for it.

I want it to be firing forward and possibly a flared pvc port coming out of the top and flush into the rear dash

I only have about 12" clearance but the dash being flush is gunna cause my port to stick out of the box at least 4-5"

im not sure how to tune it or what port to buy i was looking at http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=268-352

but idk what diameter to get.

any tips/sugesstions will help alot!

Also i plan on using these to mount the speakers but not sure what size ill need 1/4" sounds a little thick IMO

i was just looking at the boxadvisor for rockford and it reccomends a 4in diameter port that 11in long

question is the 11 " has to be inside the walls of the box or 11" total (since it will stick out to sit flush with my rear dash)

also this is for for a SINGLE woofer would i need to change the dimensions of the port for dual woofers?

You're going to have to seal off the trunk from the rest of your vehicle if you want to have the most efficient forward-firing box. I suggest expanding foam and sound deadener.

Try using the torre's box calculator, there are others out there but this one is the most accurate. Have you given a slotted port any thought?

You WOULD have to change the port dimensions for dual woofers because your volume would need to change too, thus changing the tuning frequency of the port. If you're doing 10's then aim for a frequency of mid-30's. The Fosgate site should also give the frequency at which they should be tuned to, but you don't have to follow that if you don't want to.

Answered my own question going to get a build log going once i get a little deeper into this project. im sure people would be interested to see a nice install on a Skyline GTR R32

oh and thanks for the advice crandis but slot port is not possible for this the way my trunk is
