IVX 15" on 500 watts

IVX 15" on mrp 500 at 2ohms 500 watts

Going to be tuned to 30-33hz in a 1999 camry trunk. Going to be an aeroport through the rear dash. What cubic feet do you recommend?

Okay, I think porting it is too much space so I'm looking at just a sealed box, what do you guys think?

Sealed? I'd rather move down to a 12" or something... Unless you already have the sub.

I just don't like the sound they produce. Long as you like it though that's all that matters.

camry trunks are huge. how is it too much space?

my bro unfortunately said he only wanted the box to take up 1/3 of the trunk.... leaves me with 2.5-3 cubes to work with

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but couldn't he do a 2.95 Cube box since its rated at 300 rms for a ported box? and then add on the aeroport to get tuning needed and be about 2.75-85 cubes?

generally, more power on a sub than rated = smaller box. and vice versa

ported is recommended 3.5 cubes. sealed is 2.5
