my 2005 Grand Cherokee doesn't have as much room as you would think..I also built the box to be able to go under the cargo cover so its covered up when not playing...you have plenty of room..I would make sure to do sub up and port back if possible..I didnt have the room to do port back so i did drivers side port up...

im also loking to spend about 1000 on sub and sub amp, thinking of a orion hcca 15.2 on a crescendo bc2ooo or maybe a mayhem 18 from ascendant audio, im going to be playing music every day so not sure about the orion some people say its more of a one note wonder that a music sub definatly runin 0 gauge tho and have a optima yellow top with the big 3 on a stock alt

Yeah that was my main idea at first was to have the port facing up but I've started to lean more to the port facing back and the sub facing up.
