i have an oscope for the purpose of setting amp gains and checking preamp signals , my question this : say i have an am p that is rated

400 watt @ 4ohm

700 watt @ 2ohm

1000watt@ 1 ohm

so if i connect the oscope to the speaker output an set everything to get an unclipped signal and from there i connect a sub set up that yeilds 1.33 ohm load am i still good ? or is there more to the picture still ?

thank you in advance for any helpful info on getting going with the in and outs of oscopes and car audio .

gains dont change if you wire 4 ohm, 2 ohm, 1 ohm, or anything inbetween. once you set it with the scope, you're fine
