Guest Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 my amps 1200rms lol my subs are 300rms single voice coil yeah...no its not. 75 amps worth of fuses = roughly 750w. not 1200. a 1200w amp has roughly 120 amps worth of fuses. like i said, you're wired to 2 ohms. so thats 600w worth of subs on an amp that can output like 450w at 2 ohms. they're smelling because you have the gain up too much, or bass boost or whatever, and its causing the amp to clip which = smelly subs.
