Chad Wilkins
Active is the current trend (i border on calling it a fad) and while it can sound GREAT if tuned and implemented correctly, I generally recommend passive (with crossovers) for the everyday boomer. The simple truth is this- if not tuned correctly, it will sound WORSE than a decent passive set! I guess the relevant question is- how much time are you willing to invest? yUmadBro
I can invest as much time as needed. I'm in the process of moving right now, so nothing will be done until I move. Putting in the xovers isn't a problem, I just thought the amp had the built in.
