xwing777 Posted August 5, 2012 Report Share Posted August 5, 2012 I have a Audio Control EQS that has a built in line driver and have used the DD-1 to find the distortion limit on the head unit. After that do i keep the head unit volume just under the limit i found and go to the line driver adjustment on the EQS and measure the out put on the DD-1? What is the step by step procedure for the equipment i have. Headunit -> Audio Control EQS -> 1-4channel amp for the doors -> 2- mono amps for the 2-subs (1 amp powers each sub) and using the DD-1 and the CC-1. Use 0dB track to find head unit limit, then find EQS limit, then use your choice of overlap tracks (-5dB or -10dB) and set the amplifier limit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
