Michael Martin Posted August 7, 2012 Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 ok so i installed a kicker zx 300.1 2008 model running 2 ancient punch p1 10s 150 rms per sub. i hooked it up about a month ago and it was running fine until now. lately i go to adjust the bass if i turn it higher it cuts off completely might come back on in like 10 minutes then cut off again. now today i was watching it once i got it to kick on the kicker light stayed solid but the red protection light was flashing in tune with the bass more and more as i turned it up. now im thinking the ground isnt sufficient enough and maybe instead of only sanding the bottom contact point being the floor of my truck maybe i should have sanded down the upper contact point in my jump seat bracket. what do yall think?
