Boarhog35
Hey do you guys ever run subs in boxed that have too much cubic feet then what is rated for the subwoofers by the manufacture? I was looking at two tens that are rated for 0.65 ft^3 sealed or 1.0-1.4 ft^3 ported at 32 hz. My box holds two tens and is sealed. The box has 4.16 cubic feet if my math is correct. Will this difference hurt the sound quality?
Sonic
No it wont hurt sound quality, it would hurt the subs. That box is way too big.
Sonic
With that size, better of making it ported.

Sonic
H=12 W=30 D= 12 This gives 1.82 cuft internally. Box would be fine to run your subs.
