Guest Posted August 17, 2012 Report Share Posted August 17, 2012 why get re.. get DC AA FI they will handle more for less... my brother has RE XXX and honestly they dont sound close to my AA mayhems. i paid less too Edit: we smell burnt coil with 1 minute of playing on a RExtx5000.1 my Mayhems laugh at that amp. can and will take more power XXX's are sq woofers that drop low. i assume you're talking about overall loudness. from what i've heard, they cant handle anything over rated power. which would make sense how you smelled coil while running that amp.
