BigPimpin91
I'm a little bit confused as to what it means. I'll explain what I think it means and correct me as need be. OK you have two of the same brand and rating amplifiers. My AudioPipe 1500 for EX. You wire your subs at 2 ohm's. You then split those wires to both of the amp's output's observing proper polarity. Thus, the amp's read 1 ohm each and I now have 3000w R.M.S. You have the Settings adjusted on the first amp and have an RCA jumper from the Master amp to the Slave amp's Bridged Input so nothing is out of phase etc. Is that the correct definition? Thanks. 01xtreme
When strapping an amp you are essentially bypassing all the equalization and controls of the "slave" unit and controlling both amps through the "master" amp. In most cases I have seen the master amp's positive outputs act as the positive ouputs for both amps, and the positive outputs of the slave amp is used as the negative output for both amps. the negative terminals of both amps are linked, and the amps are strapped through either a phone type cable, or an RCA cable. Hopefully this isn't too confusing of an explanation. you have the ohm levels right, each amp is seeing half the ohm load shown to the strapped pair. essentially it is like bridging a 4, or 2 channel amp, but you are using 2 separate amps. BigPimpin91
So it is exactly like the Audiopipe website says. My amps are strapable. But in a weird way. I will try to post a picture of the manual in a minute. Quote BigPimpin91's Banging Music

BigPimpin91
What's funny is that they use The two positives for output's. You would think that the positive of one amp would go to negative of the other and you would have one positive and one negative output. P.S. Sorry about the head tilting.
