Nate Futuristic Posted August 26, 2012 Report Posted August 26, 2012 well the jimmy build didnt go so well (after dropping $1000+ into the motor the tranny started leaking bad from the main seal) so now i got a 2000 ford mustang v6 (gay) auto (even GAYER) but shit for 2900 with only 116k miles im not gonna complain.... so most of the shit from my jimmy will work (except the 275 amp alt obviously and the $500 + spend on sound deader ) list of what i have: 150+ feet of 1/0 wire 50 feet of 12 gauge 3x xs power d975s and 1x d925 10 fuse blocks and 10x 300a fuses 2x sets of 6.5s and tweets ________________________________________________________________________________________________ i dont have specs off hand but from what ive seen you cant really fit 15s in the little trunk and for 12s im sure ill need to angle the subs and/or cut some metal to make room im just wondering what would be best to hit some mega lows the little knowledge i do have tells me to get 2x 12s rather than 10s (to hit 30hz or lower) but ive read a properly tuned box can make 10s hit lows aswell listen to decaf only and like lows better than punchy bass if anyone can shed some light on this id love it ill get dimensions up and a quick video of the car/trunk/back seats down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups ^^ Cant wait to swalllow Ghost's babies
Nate Futuristic Posted August 26, 2012 Author Report Posted August 26, 2012 opening to the trunk is just shy of 12in (thinking im going to cut it a bit and just drilling the seat brackets to the mdf, i do wanna keep my rear seats in for stealth purposes) 35in wide from the wheel wells and about 30in deep any ideas? down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups ^^ Cant wait to swalllow Ghost's babies
