Tim Lam Posted September 28, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 28, 2012 well i decided to go with a 8" aeroport (more like pvc pipe atm lol) and it sounds great. the net volume is a lot less than i wanted it to be. if the subs are .2feet^3 each, the displacement of the port is like 1.6feet^3. so ~4cubes gross for the 2 hdc3's and the 8" pvc is ~18in long. so about ~37.5Hz tuning. wish port could be short because it's sticking out of the box like 6" LOL when i get the time(not for a while) ill heat gun and flare it and paint it, along with fabricating the box. other than that it sounds great and moves some air! almost lost my license plate when i got home 1 bolt had fallen out and was barely hanging on from 1 loose bolt and a seal had popped out:( will post pics when i can Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
