It does run at two ohms...this amp isn't built for one ohm. I think you are getting confused with the 3000.1. That just means its a mono amplifier 2008 Chevy Impala (undercover cop style) Setup in the makings

That just means its a mono amplifier no op said it runs at 1ohm so unless its modded so that the two 1500.1 amp boards are able to handle .5ohm loads each. do you have any refs? pics? anything?
