kevinsong Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 Hey guys im building my first box and wanted some input on how my box looks. The box is for two Sundown SA- 12 and a skar sk-1500. The recommended settings were 4 ft^3 total and tuned at 35 hz. I was also wondering if the port was too small. I have a friend constantly telling me the port needs to be like two or three times bigger then what it is. If you guys can give me any advice or let me know how the box looks please let me know! Thanks! Box Height- 20 inches Width- 41'' Depth- 11'' Port ( ROUND PORT) Using SONOTUBE for my port Diameter- 6.5'' Number of Ports- 1 Port Length- 12'' Wood Thickness- 0.75'' Gross Volume- 4.02ft^3 Port Volume- 0.24 ft^3 Port Area Per Cube- 8.78 Port Area 33.17 in^2 Net Volume: 3.78 ft^3 Tuning Frequency 37.56 hz
