btsteinb Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 I have a DC power 270xp that is internally regulated. I have a quad alt bracket for my 04 yukon coming. I want to just hook up 3 oem alts, that can be had for $100 ish and do 145/80 each, and the dcpower alt together. I am under the impression, that to do this I need to externally regulate the alts, using either a transpo box or a VCM, so that they all charge at the same voltage. Can I do this? Do I need to get different alts to do this? or is there another way to wire them all together?

btsteinb Posted September 30, 2012 Author Report Posted September 30, 2012 have you tried asking DC Power I talked to someone, but they had no Idea then I was on hold for like half an hour and just said fvck it. Dont need to regulate them just power them on and be done Just parallel all the plugs together? I thought that the alts charging at different voltages would mess stuff up.
