Can't go wrong with a Rockford amp! They have always been durable and they last even after taking heavy beatings!

I might want to just add my "2-cents" here but a straight negative to ground is going to be better than going into a distro block. Same goes for your positive cable, as every connection adds a little more resistance causing a decrease in voltage.

But as long as that voltage stays up and you don't drop a lot, you should be fine. I just would personally replace the ground.

Here is at the lost comp I went to, I went home with first place at 142.6 db, trunk car class. That was with my old american bass amp, I'm hoping to hit higher with the rockford.

Well having additional batteries in the trunk I'd say you are way better off now. You should definitely be good on voltage!
