theM_A_N Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 I am building two sealed 12" sub enclosures in the rear of a hhr panel van one in each side where the windows would be on a regular hhr. My question is what direction is best to fire them since i am doing an sq build. I have a lot of flexibilty i can fire directly across at each other which i think is best from a purely aesthetic stand point but how will this work sound wise. I can angle to fire back towards rear window or forward but headrests on rear seat will be kind of blocking the sound path or i can angle down to floor or up towards ceiling. I will have plenty of sound deadener so that shouldnt be an issue. If anyone has tried these configurations in a similar type of vehicle your input would be greatly appreciated
rbeticio Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 IMO ive always liked subs firing up. They look good and sound good Ported or not
